ABOUT ERIK

Erik Hernandez is currently the Associate Director for Strength and Conditioning at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  He has worked with athletes over a wide variety of sports including: Football, Basketball, Lacrosse, Volleyball, Soccer, Field Hockey, Track and Field, Wrestling, Swimming, Tennis and Golf.  Erik has been lucky enough to be a part of several national championship performances thus he knows what it takes to maximize one’s abilities.

Erik consistently works to refine his coaching programs. Over the past 11+ years Erik has sought out world leaders in all facets of health and performance to develop his expertise. He feels privileged to have been mentored by such professionals. The most important part of Erik’s development is his daily exposure to hundreds of athletes. Erik’s former experiences as a collegiate Track and Field athlete provides him with a relatable perspective. He understands the benefits that consistent training programs have on an individual’s health and performance.

As a parent, Erik also realizes life gets busy and wants to help create templates that cut through all of the fluff. He will give you just what you need to improve and maintain your health. He enjoys coaching athletes at every level and any age: middle schoolers, professionals and your weekend warriors.
